The SIMBAD seminar (Séminaire Itinérant de Mathématiques, Biologie et Applications des Doctorants) aims at gathering PhD students and postdoctoral fellows from the French biomathematical research teams. The seminar has a special focus on deterministic models (PDE, ODE) for population biology:
evolution (adaptive dynamics);
ecology (population dynamics);
population genetics;
epidemiology.
SDE models and non-populational biological problems may be investigated as well.
The seminar will be held on three different days: one in Paris, one in Lyon and one in Montpellier. During these days, the invited PhD students and postdoctoral fellows will present their work to their peers and to senior researchers.
First day: Paris
The first day will be held on May 24th, 2016, at Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions of University Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris[poster for the first day].
